This program involves developing and implementing strategies that will
lead to meaningful policy changes and reform in areas within which
KWOAD is involved. KWODA will continue playing its role in Advocacy for
appropriate policy reforms in various aspects of women’s rights and
governance policies, especially in the following areas, among others:-
Women’s Rights and women’s political participation, gender equality,
HIV/AIDS and other cross-cutting Issues like the environment as well as
Local Governance to ensure the benefits of decentralization reaches
women
